One is the data nerd, that wants to collected as much data as possible on your blog, and the other is the privacy nerd that has spent too much time reading Cory Doctorow and Lawrence Lessig.

Suffice it to say, I’ve come down on the side of privacy nerd – mostly because I don’t want other people collecting data from the tens of people that might show up here. Also, hooking up to all these damn services is too much work.

So knowing me, I’ll do some kind of open source anonymized thing using homomorphic encryption or something in my grand tradition of yak shaving.
